Awards That has Been Achieved by Indonesia

There are some awards that have been achieved by Indonesia. Among the Thomas Cup, Uber Cup, and All England.

In the Thomas Cup, Indonesia won as much as 13X, namely in 1958, 1961, 1964, 1970, 1973, 1976, 1979, 1984,
1994, 1996, 1998, 2000, and 2002. Indonesian players who won the Thomas Cup, among others, Rudy Hartono, Tan Joe Hok, and Antonius Budi Ariantho.

In the Uber Cup, Indonesia won only 3 times. In years 1975.1994, and 1996.Players who contributed to the Uber Cup, among others Lili Tampi, Susi Susanti and  Eliza Nathanael.

Badminton Clubs in Indonesia

Now, I will mention some famous badminton clubs in Indonesia.There are PB Suryanaga Gudang Garam, PB Djarum, and PB SGS (Sangkuriang Graha Sarana). Now I will explain one by one.

PB Suryanaga Gudang Garam is an association of the largest in Surabaya. Standing in 1908.Badminton players are known as Rudi Hartono, Alan Budi Kusumaand Sonny Dwi Kuncoro been practicing in Suryanaga. Someawards like the first series of Super League champions, Taiwanand the Philippines Open oelh Suryanaga been obtained. Not only that, Suryanaga also become the training ground faforit foreignplayers, such as Singapore, which always sends badminton players each year to practice in Suryanaga.

PB Djarum, established in 1969. Djarum, one of the badminton club coaches
most concern to the development of badminton. The players who have practiced in the Djarum like Liem Swie King, Christian Hadinata, and Alan Budi Kusuma.The seriousness of the oldest Badminton club is evidenced again by building a training facility / GOR

SGS (Sangkuriang Graha Sarana) is one of the club which also has a well-knownplayers. Like Taufik Hidayat and Nova Widyanto. Pengahrggan who had obtained thebadminton champion in 2005.
